La cha\u00eene de caf\u00e9s vise une introduction \u00e0 la bourse de New-York au mois de mai 2019, esp\u00e9rant lever 1 milliard de dollars et ainsi, voir sa valorisation atteindre pr\u00e8s de 5 milliards de dollars. Pour r\u00e9aliser cet objectif et battre Starbucks en Chine, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 doit ouvrir un nouveau point de vente toutes les 210 minutes !<\/p>\n<p>Les licornes ? Des animaux mythiques, dont il est si compliqu\u00e9 de pr\u00e9dire l\u2019avenir et la dur\u00e9e de vie. Mais une chose est s\u00fbre : durant leur existence plus ou moins courtes, les licornes ont une f\u00e2cheuse tendance \u00e0 attirer l\u2019argent et \u00e0 voir leurs valorisations atteindre des montants exorbitants.<\/p>\n              <\/div>\n            \n                    <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"block_d06c03348b55d71ebc3d838c43eb77b9\" class=\"block-textminor\">\n    <div class=\"row\">\n              <div class=\"col-lg-10 col-12\">\n        <div class=\"block-textminor-main\">\n                          <h2 class=\"block-textminor-title h3\">\n                  Apr\u00e8s le PER (Price Earning Ratio), les investisseurs chinois ont invent\u00e9 le PDR (Price Deficit Ratio).              <\/h2>\n                                      <div class=\"block-textminor-text\">\n                  <p>Luckin Coffee br\u00fble une quantit\u00e9 consid\u00e9rable d\u2019argent, pour le plus grand bonheur de ses clients. C\u2019est le monde \u00e0 l\u2019envers ! Alors qu\u2019auparavant, les signaux d\u2019alarme se d\u00e9clenchaient lorsque les PER \u00e9taient trop hauts, d\u00e9sormais, plus le PDR est \u00e9lev\u00e9 et plus l\u2019argent coule \u00e0 flots.<\/p>\n<p>Il faut dire que les investisseurs du monde entier ont cru en l\u2019avenir de soci\u00e9t\u00e9s comme Amazon, qui, rappelons-le, vient de sortir piteusement du march\u00e9 chinois ; la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tait encore en 2015 dans le rouge malgr\u00e9 un chiffre d\u2019affaires de pr\u00e8s de 90 milliards de US $.<\/p>\n<p>Les chinois vont donc lancer leur propre Nasdaq : le \u00ab Science and Technology Innovation Board \u00bb, comme si New-York, la Bourse de Hong-Kong ou encore le Nasdaq ne suffisaient plus \u00e0 lever du capital. R\u00e9sultat : au sein de la bourse de Shanghai, les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s de technologie vont pouvoir se faire lister et lever des fonds plus vite \u2013 comme le voulait P\u00e9kin et comme l\u2019avait annonc\u00e9 le Pr\u00e9sident Xi Jinping en novembre 2018 -, en acc\u00e9l\u00e9rant les IPO et ainsi supporter le d\u00e9veloppement des futurs champions nationaux. Une mani\u00e8re \u00e9vidente de se d\u00e9faire de la mainmise des Etats-Unis sur le financement international des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s chinoises.<\/p>\n<p>P\u00e9kin veut tirer profit des petits porteurs chinois frustr\u00e9s de ne pouvoir investir \u00e0 leur guise sur les places \u00e9trang\u00e8res. Avec ce nouveau Nasdaq \u00e0 Shanghai, les investisseurs chinois, qui sont aussi particuli\u00e8rement joueurs, vont pouvoir supporter les demandes de cash des licornes, qu\u2019ils voient et utilisent au quotidien.<\/p>\n              <\/div>\n            \n                    <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"block_6892425ffa6ec92cddf918630fe4a231\" class=\"block-textminor\">\n    <div class=\"row\">\n              <div class=\"col-lg-10 col-12\">\n        <div class=\"block-textminor-main\">\n                          <h2 class=\"block-textminor-title h3\">\n                  Luckin Coffee : le parfait exemple de la capacit\u00e9 d\u2019une start-up \u00e0 comprendre son march\u00e9              <\/h2>\n                                      <div class=\"block-textminor-text\">\n                  <p>Alors qu\u2019en 2000, la consommation de caf\u00e9 \u00e9tait quasiment nulle en Chine, elle repr\u00e9sente 2,4% de la consommation mondiale en 2018.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Il y a encore 2 ans, Starbucks poss\u00e9dait pr\u00e8s de 80 % du march\u00e9. Mais voil\u00e0 que le caribou Luckin Coffee est venu de P\u00e9kin pour d\u00e9tr\u00f4ner la petite sir\u00e8ne de Seattle !<\/p>\n<p>En r\u00e9alit\u00e9 les mod\u00e8les et les USP des deux compagnies sont bien diff\u00e9rents :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Starbucks se concentre sur le bien-\u00eatre dans le lieu de vente, le wifi offert, les baristas\u2026, avec un positionnement de prix \u00e9lev\u00e9 \u2013 insolent quand on connait les marges sur le caf\u00e9 !-. L\u2019id\u00e9e de d\u00e9part ? Permettre aux clients de passer des moments agr\u00e9ables entre amis, install\u00e9s sur de confortables sofas, pendant 3 heures. Mais 30 places assises, occup\u00e9es pendant plusieurs heures, ne g\u00e9n\u00e8rent pas un chiffre d\u2019affaires suffisant \u2013 et Luckin Coffee l\u2019a bien compris !-. Starbucks s\u2019est positionn\u00e9 comme le \u00ab troisi\u00e8me lieu \u00bb, qui n\u2019est ni le travail, ni la maison, jouissant d\u2019une image \u00e9trang\u00e8re, porteuse d\u2019un certain statut social.<\/li>\n<li>Dans un pays tr\u00e8s individualiste comme la Chine, o\u00f9 la livraison g\u00e9n\u00e8re d\u00e9sormais plus de la moiti\u00e9 du flux des restaurants, Luckin Coffee a fait un autre choix. La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 a tr\u00e8s bien compris son march\u00e9 et touche une population beaucoup plus jeune \u2013 80 % des clients ont moins de 30 ans -, avec un positionnement prix 20 % inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 Starbucks. Les caf\u00e9s poussent comme des champignons \u2013 en 2017, Luckin Coffee ne poss\u00e9dait que 9 points de vente ; plus de 2 000 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 ouverts en une ann\u00e9e -, au pied d\u2019immeubles de bureaux et de galeries marchandes, dans des lieux o\u00f9 l\u2019on ne peut pas s\u2019assoir. La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 mise sur la consommation de masse, l\u2019instant, la facilit\u00e9 de commande et de livraison. Adieu les baristas ! La principale client\u00e8le des Luckin Coffee est compos\u00e9e de livreurs. Et grande diff\u00e9rence avec Starbucks : Luckin Coffee est une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 chinoise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Autre point de diff\u00e9renciation en faveur de Luckin Coffee ? La lenteur de Starbucks \u00e0 nouer des partenariats (elle l\u2019a r\u00e9cemment fait avec Alibaba). De plus, l\u2019entreprise am\u00e9ricaine a mis trop longtemps \u00e0 accepter le paiement mobile avec Alipay et Wechat pay, privil\u00e9giant le cash et les cartes pr\u00e9pay\u00e9es en plastique d\u2019un autre \u00e2ge. De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, Luckin Coffee, est un b\u00e9b\u00e9 licorne de 2 ans, adoss\u00e9 depuis ses premiers pas \u00e0 Tencent.<\/p>\n              <\/div>\n            \n                    <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"block_08f436bff97abb66f19cdb1c08607885\" class=\"block-textminor\">\n    <div class=\"row\">\n              <div class=\"col-lg-10 col-12\">\n        <div class=\"block-textminor-main\">\n                          <h2 class=\"block-textminor-title h3\">\n                  La suite ?              <\/h2>\n                                      <div class=\"block-textminor-text\">\n                  <p>Bien malin celui qui saura pr\u00e9dire la suite des \u00e9v\u00e9nements : Starbucks, en Chine depuis 1999, poss\u00e8de une valorisation boursi\u00e8re bien plus importante que Luckin Coffee.<\/p>\n<p>Coca-Cola vient d\u2019investir dans la caf\u00e9ine en rachetant le Britannique Costa ; WeWork, la licorne du co-working dont les espaces sont de plus en plus courus en Chine, se positionne \u00e9galement sur ce march\u00e9 juteux.<\/p>\n<p>Nombreuses sont les licornes qui n\u2019ont pas v\u00e9cu longtemps. Ofo est mort, Mobike est en mauvaise posture. La barri\u00e8re \u00e0 l\u2019entr\u00e9e est basse.
