Our aim is to support small business owners and entrepreneurs in their efforts to serve the common good: professional integration, business creation, and social connection. Supporting small business owners to serve the common good Professional integration, business creation and social connection. In 2020, the Altavia Group wished to take its humanitarian involvement policy one step further and commit to a meaningful philanthropic project. The Altavia Foundation was thus born, with its mission to support entrepreneurs and small business owners working for the common good: professional integration, business creation and social connection. Our main priority is to help those who are the furthest from employment. Our work mainly concerns independent small businesses, artisanal craftswork, or provision of services. Why micro-commerce? At the Altavia Foundation, we firmly believe in the value of small business for society. Previous Next A tool for professional integration Starting a small business is a fantastic opportunity to make a fresh start. Altavia Foundation wants to inspire people seeking professional integration or professional transition to embark on this path. A catalyst for social connection Today, we are faced with countless challenges that weaken our social ties and isolate us: digitalization, unemployment, etc. In this context, micro-commerce can be a powerful way of connecting people. A way to breathe new life into rural areas Rural communities are becoming increasingly deserted and lacking in local businesses. We want to support the creation of businesses that are useful to everyone: mobile bakeries, in-home hairdressing, sports lessons, and so on. What are Altavia Foundation’s initiatives? 01 Our Microco.com Platform “Inspiring, guiding and informing the small business owners of today and tomorrow.” Our platform, microco.com, aims to facilitate access to micro-commerce, by providing access to a wide range of resources, tutorials, feedback, webinars and much more… This tool compiles inspiring micro-commerce models, ready to be duplicated, whether they be mobile grocery stores, in-home IT services, or foodtrucks. It’s a veritable guidebook for the small business owners of today and tomorrow!
