The retail industry has seen a shift in consumer expectations, with audiences increasingly responsive to storytelling and serialized content formats. Within this evolving landscape, Auchan aimed to distinguish itself by creating campaigns that mirrored the narrative approach of popular streaming platforms. This was particularly pertinent across the eleven international markets where the brand operates, each with its own cultural nuances and consumption patterns. The initiative also aligned with a broader push to enhance digital engagement while supporting in-store traffic and sales.

Our Ambition

We set out to help Auchan capture audience attention and stimulate recurring engagement by transforming product promotion into a serialized experience, replicating the anticipation-driven model of television series.

Our approach

To operationalize this concept, Altavia developed a content system capable of delivering high-volume, consistent, and scalable assets month after month:

  • Devised a campaign structure modeled on streaming series, with one new “episode” launched monthly.
  • Produced over 700 visual assets, including more than 100 original photos and videos, to showcase featured products.
  • Deployed the campaign across 11 countries, adapting content to local languages and formats.
  • Maintained consistent visual identity and thematic coherence through systematized templates and automated processes.
  • Distributed content via both digital and print channels to ensure maximum reach.
