Context

Système U is a major player in French retail, organized as a cooperative with a strong local presence and decentralized structure. Each store maintains a degree of autonomy, requiring adaptable yet standardized communication tools. Over time, the volume and complexity of media assets—ranging from national campaigns to store-specific point-of-sale materials—have grown significantly. This evolution demanded a streamlined production model capable of delivering consistency at scale, across both print and digital formats.

Our Ambition

We aimed to strengthen Système U’s media operations by establishing a centralized, high-capacity content production system that ensures speed, accuracy, and adaptability across all communication formats and retail locations.

Our approach

To meet Système U’s growing needs, Altavia deployed a dedicated production structure combining creative, technical, and logistical expertise:

  • Established a specialized production team managing over 180 operations annually across national and local campaigns.
  • Delivered more than 15,000 pages per year for the PAC brochure system, including creative adaptation and premedia work until 2022.
  • Produced over 5,000 photoshoots annually to support retail communication.
  • Handled creative adaptation and printing of over 400 million PAC flyers and 10 million SRs per year via a dedicated ordering platform.
  • Managed over 500 poster and shelf marker variations per campaign to meet store-specific requirements.
  • Supported store-specific operations through end-to-end coordination: creation, premedia, production, and print logistics.
